Should I, or Should I not?

This could be the longest Chinese New Year that we ever had but it seems as though no one was well-prepared for this annual celebration. It is as though this Chinese tradition will soon vanish within generations to come.

Fewer CNY decorations in shopping malls and on the streets of Malacca. Lesser CNY shoppers in KL and PJ. Decreasing number of fireworks exploding in the dark sky during the nights. Relatives going back to hometown after reunion dinner. Definitely lesser ‘Ang Pau’ received.

Goodness gracious. This should be a celebration that would be able to strengthen the relationship within families. This should be a celebration of joy and laughter. This should be a celebration that we will remember till the day our souls leave for heaven. This should be a celebration celebrated by all. But these are not happening at all in this supposedly ox-picious year of ours.

Hometown used to be liven up with scenes of bustle and excitement. Now, it became a place filled with total strangers and dullness. We used to chat and joke happily when we gathered around the living room. Now, we hid ourselves in separate rooms, doing the things we desire most. Some even preferred not to celebrate this wonderful celebration in their hometown.

Mine wasn’t that great after all. It started off with a limited time for preparation, ending up with almost no new clothings for me. Went back to visit my grandma in Malacca, only to face with my strangers-to-be cousins from Singapore. Back came another uncle from Singapore, whom I never seen him for years. Oh.. That’s worst. I don’t think he even know who I am. As for my 3 ‘loving’ cousins, we didn’t bother to look each other in the eye(they literally hid themselves behind the papers). That’s life. Overall, we did had a little bit of fun.

But what made my year was when I got myself a new laptop!

A Studio 15!

And then I finally got myself a bag!

Now that really made me contented :) Credits to my parents of course. Writing this would be a token of my gratitude for them. Thanks a lot.

Lastly, I would like to thank Rina for all the compliments she wrote about me in her bloggie. I was thinking of posting a comment there but couldn’t. So it should be fine writing here and telling you once again. Thanks for everything! Appreciate it :)

D for Daring to Dream

Would any of you ever appreciate your dreams although some of you may find it hard to recall what you dreamt of after you had awaken from the warm and comfy bed of yours?

My Dreams, as beautiful and wonderful as ever.

Dreams, my second home, my fantasy land that projects all my inner desires.

Dreams, make my day.

Dreams, provide me with indefinite confidence although they are sometimes false hopes.

Dreams, draw me closer to my loved ones.

Dreams, showed me an avenue that allows me to escape from reality.

Dreams, had inevitably fused with my life as one ever since I was born.

And ALL Dreams, will soon come to life on the day you say ‘I Do.’

Just last night, you came straight into mine with a smile on your face. You told everyone that something that we held each other tightly. That moment again will be one of those wonderful moments that would find themselves carved on the walls of my mind.

Is that what I wanted? We’ll figure that out soon.

Thanks for everything :)

Sean

Have you been waiting?

I have never been free since college reopens on the 5th of January, unlike danny-cooper.

Even before the start of the semester, my brain never stop working. I faced a tough time decidng on which subjects to take before coming to an ultimate decision.

This decision I have made is going to get me busy throughout the whole semester, I believe. I'm taking World Religions under Ms Yap, so I have to strive hard I guess.

HELP's admin has never been that unorganized before. Or rather they are always like that. They constructed a timetable where the subjects are clashing with each other and some of the timing suck hell.

Because of that, most students are taking only 3 subjects this spring semester and Mr. Ho, the new HOD of the ADP department has to approved it.

He doesn't even look at the reasons we wrote for taking only 3 subjects. Just sign and approve.

First day of the semester, Registry 1 was in chaos. Continuing students and new students are required to register and enrol for their subjects there at the same time.

You can imagine the number of students waiting for their turn and squeezing their way to get to the counter. Thank God they are building another block, make it fast please.

Registration done and start worrying about the payment. But that's not all that is in my mind.

I was planning to transfer over to Drake next year so I can dally with the application. There's so much things to do. Troublesome is the word I use to describe it.

With the plan changed, I'm going to transfer this fall, few months later! Instantaneously, everything became such a rush.

I have to register for the TOEFL and I even signed up wrongly, not knowing it until: Reserved a seat for the TOEFL test on the 28th of March and received the ticket confirmation mail. Gosh, my profile name is written as Lee. That's all. Or rather null Lee. Crap!

Wrote letters to complain about everything and am now waiting for their replies. Hopefully the replies are coming in soon.

Looking at the application and requirements to apply for Drake, I'm completely overwhelmed.

Now you know how much stress I'm going through. And I still can't believe that danny-cooper is saying that he has nothing to do!

Come to my house and help me scratch my back then! xD

Black out---!

Not so Fast!

I just came back from lunch at Kluang Station and I decided to blog a little about it.

What so special about eating out at Kluang Station?

Of course, it's ordinary for everyone to dine there, but it's a different thing if you dine at the original outlet itself :)
Yes, I'm in Kluang located in JB. Came here yesterday to visit my grandparents who are staying in Paloh, a small town 30 minutes drive away from Kluang.

So, the food at the outlet here is obviously nicer than any other outlets in KL. And the price, cheaper of course. I even saw the boss, the REAL BIG boss. Humble-looking.

Well, I'll be going back to KL on Sunday. And I'm waiting anxiously for the results! It has been delayed apparently.

ONe more Thing!!

My cute little cousin sis :)
